With water bowls and treats for your pup (with proceeds heading to the good folks at HUHA), and exclusive beers and good eats for you, this delightfully retro brewery and bar should be at the top of your "to do" list this weekend.
Screaming 70's pub vibes with wood paneling, floral wallpaper, hanging ferns, and fringed umbrellas, we're all about this #aesthetic. What's better, there's a dedicated Polaroid wall for the dogs of Parrotdog, supporting Newtown analogue photoshop Splendid Film.
Grab one of their exclusive pilot brews from the L.B. Beer Series (also available to take home with Nice. Takeaway next door) and tuck into one of their New York style deli sandwiches. With a strong focus on meats and seasonal veges, there's something for everyone - currently drooling over the thought of a Cheesesteak Sandwich right now.

Be sure to swing by for this year's Wellington On A Plate Burger Wellington (17th-31st August) - Tempura smoked eel burger with pickled vegetables, ginger, wasabi pearl and dashi mayo on a squid ink bun with lotus root crisps.
If indoor bowls is your thing, head down on September 8th for their knock-out tournament Bowls up at the Brewery. This place always has a bunch of events on the go (like Bar Bingo and movie nights), so be sure to Like their Facebook page for to stay in the loop!

P.S. Please be responsible dog parent! If your dog can’t handle loud noises, busy crowds or other dogs, please refrain from bringing them with you, or test them out during a quiet period to see how they go. When taking your dog out remember to be wary of the conditions - make sure they have enough water and shade, check that the footpaths aren’t too hot for them to walk on (if it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for them!), and never leave them in a hot car.
