About Us

Opening a homewares store had been a dream for a while for us, and the penny dropped one day when we became increasingly frustrated with the lack of on-trend, high quality products for our Shih Tzu x Maltese pups, Gus & Finn, available in New Zealand, so when the timing was right and we said "f@*% it, lets do it"! We combined the two things I love most - interiors and dogs - and just like that Smack Bang was born!

Our mission is to get pet owners to start thinking about the items they buy for their pets in the same way they would buy something for themselves or their homes. Who ever said functional had to be ugly?

Smack Bang opened its doors in Wellington on the 2nd of October, 2017 to much anticipation. We've scoured the globe for the coolest, on-trend, quality products that we're low-key obsessed with and we hope you love them too! Our store is always pet-friendly and we love meeting you and your furry best friends.
