The process also eliminates pathogenic bacteria, such as e.coli, salmonella and listeria, while protecting the natural nutrition of our ingredients. Our slow and gentle air-drying process creates a food that is as nutrient-rich and digestible as a raw diet. It provides a 24-month shelf life, naturally, without the need for artificial preservatives, sugars or glycerines. As a further safety step, our products are micro tested and screened before and after air-drying and are only released for sale after approval by MPI (Ministry of Primary Industries, which is New Zealand’s government's regulatory authority).
