🐱🐶NATIONAL PET DAY 2025 🐶🐱 Say hi to Bao, half Maltese and half Shih Tzu and the newest boss of Smack Bang. He is super cheeky with lots of energy. Always wanting to play or go for an adventure. Bao was born in 2021 and to say that he’s made a profound impact on our lives is an understatement. You came into our lives with love and support but what you don’t realise is you’ve brought the love and support to us. The last couple of years have been really rough to us and those around us and we couldn’t have gotten through it without you. You’re still getting us through it! Sheesh life huh. No matter what anyone says, we truly believe that pets are family. There is no greater, truer bond than the love of a dog and in return we must give them the best that life has to offer. If you can offer a pet a home, please do, you won’t regret it! And even better if you’re open for adoption. Hi everyone! We’re Nicola, Riky and Bao - the proud new owners of Smack Bang 👩🏻👨🏽🐶🥹💕 Firstly we want to thank the AMAZING Amelia for giving us the chance to continue on what she started. You’ve poured your heart and soul into Smack Bang and we hope to do the same and make you proud! Another big thank you to Em and every other team member for helping to create what Smack Bang is today and looking after the wonderful Wellington dog (and cat) community 🐶🐱 I’m sure you’re itching to know what Smack Bang will now look like. As Amelia said the economy is pretty 💩 and we know the ideal place for Smack Bang is a physical store, however for now we are going to be purely online and will be aiming to pop up every now and again so you can still get your pet fixes and we can still see all the good boys and girls. We’re aiming to come back physically but we NEED all your help to do so. Please continue to support small local businesses! They cannot continue without you 🫶🏻 We’ve got some fresh ideas, some new brands and of course your old favourites. If you’ve got any questions, leave them here and we will answer them ☺️ A little about us - we’re both born and bred Wellingtonians (whilst Bao is from all the way up North!)
